Artero Aurigel Ear Cleaner
It is a cleanser in gel form for dogs and cats. ideal for the ears that helps maintain the hygiene of the ear canopy and ear canal of dogs and cats. Removes dirt and excess wax avoiding bad odors and possible infections.
A weekly application is usually sufficient to maintain proper hygiene, although the frequency depends on the type of animal, the environment where it lives, etc.
Thanks to its presentation in gel it is very easy to dose. When it comes into contact with the skin, it liquefies, causing rapid penetration, softening excess wax and dirt.
It contains oil from the leaves of the Australian tea tree (Tea tree oil) which is a natural antiseptic that was already used by the indigenous Koori thousands of years ago.
The presentation of otitis is usually more frequent in dogs than in cats, because they have a deeper and more angled ear canal.
We must be especially careful in breeds with large and droopy ears (Cocker, Beagle) or with very hairy ear canals (Poodle, West Highland White Terrier) since these factors increase the humidity inside the ear, which favors the growth of fungi and bacteria. .
How to use
To clean the auricle, we will apply one or two pulses of the product on a sterile gauze, always proceeding to clean from the inside to the outside, being careful in the folds and grooves of the cartilage.
To clean the ear canal, we will apply a sufficient amount of the product inside the canal without it overflowing, to subsequently massage the base of the ear and thus promote its emulsion with dirt and ceruminolytic action.
The animal itself will expel the emulsion to the outside, removing it with the gauze. Cotton swabs should not be used as we can cause dirt to be pushed towards the eardrum.
