This lamp simulates the natural light of the moon that allows night vision without interfering with the day and night cycle of the animal. The emitted light is bluish due to the use of blue colored glass. The heat it generates is minimal but enough to create tropical night temperatures. The low voltage of these lamps does not interfere with the temperature drops of a natural night.
