Douxo care is a frequently used cleaning and soothing solution for the ears that contains phytosphingosine.

It is a micellar solution with mild hypoallergenic cleansing bases , with phytosphingosine, soothing agents, anesthetics and green tea perfume.


It is a very gentle and effective hygiene product thanks to its micellar formulation and its active ingredients. The liquid is non-greasy and contains a light fragrance without causing any irritation . It cleanses cell debris, removes excess fat and wax and calms inflammation.


Thanks to the fact that phytosphingosine is a natural component of the epidermis , it contains anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiseborrheic properties.

Lack of phytosphingosine has been associated with seborrheic dermatitis, skin and lipid layer disorders, and bacterial and yeast growth.


Indications of use

This product is ideal for dogs and cats, cleaning their ears in regular hygienic care or before treatment in case of external otitis.

Especially indicated for the hygiene of particularly sensitive ears or ears with a tendency to produce excess wax.

It also serves to clean the area around the eyes, especially when the hair is dirty or matted.


How to use

Product for external use, apply a few drops in the external auditory canal, trying to keep the auricle raised , trying to carefully stretch the ear.

Then let the product slide down the inside of the ear, gently massaging it and allowing the dog to shake its head afterwards.

Finally, clean the inside of the ear with a gauze or wipe the product that is left over.

Do not ingest this product, avoid contact with the eyes. If perforation of the eardrum is suspected, the veterinarian should be consulted first.
