Eheim Pellets Torf Universal Filtration Peat
Eheim Pellets Torf is a chemical filter substrate with peat for aquariums.
This chemical filter material based on acid peat, compatible with any filter, has been developed and tested in specialized laboratories. Peat contains many beneficial substances for the aquarium and influences the pH and hardness values of the water. It is only suitable for freshwater aquariums. It is a product of the Eheim brand, a leading German company worldwide in the aquarium industry, a guarantee of excellent quality and durability.
To keep the aquarium water in perfect condition, the filter materials must be changed regularly. Never change all the filter media at the same time, to avoid destroying the beneficial bacterial population in the aquarium. This filter media should be changed every 3-6 weeks. It should never be used simultaneously with activated carbon. Peat expands in water, it is recommended to wet it but not wash it to prevent it from losing its properties.
