Eheim Prefilter
The prefilter easily plugs into the inlet tube. The water is sucked directly from the bottom of the aquarium through the filter container.
This can be easily disassembled (Easy Click) and cleaned quickly. In this way coarse dirt is trapped directly there, before the water reaches the actual aquarium filter (external filter).
Thanks to this, the biological degradation process inside the external filter is prolonged considerably , increasing the operating time without cleaning. Water is sucked in around the entire pre-filter for smoother filtration.
Composed of 2 filtration containers, each equipped with a filter cartridge . Carbon filter cartridges, phosphate removers, can also be used by connecting the EHEIM biopower filter container as well as the EHEIM SUBSTRAT pro biological filter material or the EHEIM AKTIV/KARBON/Phosphateout adsorptive filter material.
The pre-filter is suitable for all EHEIM external filters (except professionel 3e and classic 1500XL).
