Eheim Press Kit Pressure Filter and Flow Pump
The installation of a filtration system consisting of a pump and a filter is necessary for keeping the fish in good condition and for maintaining balanced water in a pond.
This filtration kit should be tailored to the volume, fish population, and exposure of your pond for optimal efficiency.
There are two types of filtration:
Mechanical filtration : removes suspended solids and all the large organic residues present in the basin.
Biological Filtration – It will help keep the water balanced through bacteria that will reduce organic contamination in the water.
The filtration process of the EHEIM Press range is very efficient.
The water in the pool passes through several different filter plants such as foams, meshes and compositions and bacterial media that finish purifying the water with the bacteria that colonize them, before returning to the basin.
Security system: It has an automatic stop in case of dry running.
The filter can be mounted in series with an EHEIM UV sterilizer (sold separately) to help keep your water clean.
