Help Advanced Soil Shrimp
Advanced Soil Shrimp is a substrate specially designed to grow ornamental shrimp.
Highly recommended substrate for fans of ornamental shrimp. ADVANCED SOIL for SHRIMPS, includes special components that promote their growth. It also includes some components to help control the pH and KH and lower them in a short space of time. As a result, the aquatic environment is as close as possible to the natural environment allowing you to introduce ornamental shrimp the day after the substrate has been placed.
1 – Place it inside the aquarium before putting the water. It is not necessary to wash the substrate before use.
2 - Using a saucer, gently fill the aquarium with water, so as not to move the substrate.
Warnings:
ADVANCE SOIL may contain some fragments of plants or wood, but in no case do they affect the quality of the water, just remove them with a net.
The water may appear a little cloudy initially. This turbidity disappears after 1 day of filtering.

Why should we have natural substrate in aquariums?
There is a saying that "a clear current is avoided by fish." It describes the aquatic environment, suggesting that it does not attract fish if the water is too clear. In short, very clear water does not contain organic matter which is the main source of nutrients for aquatic life and therefore not in building ecosystems.
Other key factors are the KH of the water and the pH.
Stones, gravels and sand are considered unfavorable for fish farming as they tend to contain a large amount of calcium ions which raise KH. They also contain substances (for example, minerals such as petrified wood and gravel) that raise the pH.
So why high pH and KH are unfavorable for fish? While plants like vegetables and fruits prefer water pH between neutral and slightly alkaline, rice and other aquatic plants prefer water pH between mildy acidic and netutral regeneration. Most fish also live in water that is mildly acidic (low pH).
The natural substrate makes it possible for the water to naturally reach slightly acid.
The same can be said for aquatic plants .
