JBL Test Ammonia/Ammonium NH4
Control the level of ammonia/ammonium in your fish tank using the JBL test.
If you are during cycling or you suspect that the water in your aquarium has an effective bacterial colony responsible for converting ammonia to nitrite, the ammonia test is your best tool to control this level reliably.
Organic compounds from fish and decomposing plants go into a state in which they release ammonia. This ammonia must be rapidly converted to the nitrite state by nitrosomonas bacteria.
If your aquarium does not have a potential bacterial colony established, then the chemical process from ammonia to nitrite will not work properly.
Ammonia is the most toxic state, being a lethal poison for the inhabitants of the aquarium. That is why it is recommended to control these levels in order to know that we have an effective bacterial colony.
The test is presented in 3 bottles of drops together with two test tubes, a syringe to take a sample, the color diagram and the instruction manual.
The use of the test is very simple to use and its content is estimated for 50 measurements.
