TetraPond AlgoFin is an intensive remedy against the most common algae.

TetraPond AlgoFin is a punctual and intensive remedy against the most common algae, such as filamontous algae, slimy algae as well as duckweed. It acts quickly and safely to prevent the new growth of algae.

Mode of action: attacks the organism and metabolism of algae and inhibits photosynthesis. Its effect lasts 2-3 weeks. It prevents the growth of algae afterwards.

How to use: Shake the bottle well before use. Use 50 ml of AlgoFin for every 1000 l of pond water, using the measuring cup for this. For greater efficiency, stir the water with a stick or similar to distribute the product evenly throughout the pond.

Indications and precautions:

  • Before starting the treatment and after using it, remove as many algae as possible from the pond. Dead algae can worsen the quality of the water.
  • Ensure the supply of oxygen to the water during treatment.
  • Do not use water clarifier or activated carbon during treatment.
  • If necessary, repeat the operation with half the dose after 4 weeks.
