With high quality proteins and easily assimilated carbohydrates. A low-protein diet based primarily on meat is a difficult combination, but a success judging by the canine gourmets who try this food.
The sweet potato , a healthy source of carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, is considered one of the oldest and most nutritious foods.
Vegetable fats are cheap, but they are not found in the natural diet of dogs and wolves. For this reason Wolfsblut uses lamb fat, easily assimilated by the canine metabolism, and a mixture of Mediterranean plants: berries and wild plants that are also found in the natural diet of the gray wolf. Taurine , an amino acid with special importance in large breed dogs, strengthens the circulatory system and the vision of dogs
The aronia , a wild berry with significant amounts of antioxidants and vitamins, has interesting properties in the treatment of:
- Digestive problems and heartburn
- Colon diseases
- Liver and biliary problems
- Skin diseases and allergies
- Mellitus diabetes
- coagulation problems
Without cereals . No Wolfsblut feed contains corn, wheat or soybeans since it is not part of the canine diet.
